🎨 The Crafty Club – Holiday Clubs for Ages 4–12

Inspiring creativity, confidence, and curiosity – one craft at a time.

At The Crafty Club, we don’t just run holiday clubs – we create magical, memorable experiences where children can create, explore, and thrive. Our arts and crafts-based sessions are designed to spark imagination, build new skills, and promote friendships – all in a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels seen, valued, and safe.

Why Should You Book Your Child in?

💡 What Makes Our Clubs Different?

Our clubs are rooted in child-led creativity, hands-on learning, and imaginative play – aligning closely with the Welsh curriculum’s emphasis on exploration, well-being, and learning through doing.

Each day blends structured, themed activities with opportunities for free creative play, encouraging independence, decision-making, and confidence building. Whether children are experimenting with 3D pens or mixing up the perfect slime, they're learning through curiosity, problem-solving, and play.

✂️ What We Offer:

Children enjoy both guided activities and open-ended play with access to:

  • 🎨 3D Printing Pens

  • 🧱 LEGO & Minecraft LEGO Builds

  • 🧲 Magnetic Construction Tiles

  • 🌀 Real Pottery Wheel

  • 🧪 STEAM-based crafts like slime science, bath bomb making, fabric painting, tie-dye, clay crafts and more!

This balance of freedom and guidance supports every child’s individual interests and developmental needs, while helping them explore new materials, tools, and techniques.

🌈 A Safe, Inclusive and Nurturing Space

Our club is a place where every child can feel secure, respected, and inspired. We are proud to be a neurodiversity-aware setting, offering space and flexibility for children with additional or sensory needs.

With calm zones, optional participation, and the freedom to engage at their own pace, children are supported to regulate, connect, and enjoy themselves fully.

We embed the values of the UNCRC (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child) throughout our sessions – ensuring children have the right to rest, play, express themselves, and be treated with dignity and respect.

🤝 Supporting Development Through Play

We believe in the power of play as a vital tool for learning and well-being. Through every creative activity, children are developing:

  • Fine motor skills

  • Emotional regulation

  • Communication and social skills

  • Imagination and self-expression

  • Confidence and problem-solving abilities

Our sessions support the holistic development of children by providing time, space, and resources to experiment, create, and collaborate.
